ABUS uses the Firebase service from Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to analyse user behaviour. ABUS uses the collected data to view and analyse the interaction with the app provided. Firebase is part of the Google Cloud Platform and offers services for app developers. A list of all current services can be found here: https://firebase.google.com/terms/. ABUS currently uses the Google Analytics service for Firebase to provide analyses of the use of the app provided. In the Firebase service used, personal data may be processed in individual cases. In most cases, the personal data used is limited to so-called user IDs, which are provided with a time stamp. The user IDs created by Firebase are only used once and therefore enable the assignment to certain events or processes when using the app. Google Analytics stores the user ID-related data for 60 days and also deletes it afterwards. The data collected in this process is not personal data and ABUS does not take any measures to subsequently personalise it. ABUS uses the collected data to analyse user behaviour and to optimise the user experience, which also includes the evaluation of crash reports and problem messages. This personal data is not merged with your other profile information. The processing of this data is necessary for ABUS to further improve the stability and security of the app and is done on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR.
As a data subject, you are entitled to various rights under the GDPR, which arise in particular from Art. 15 to 21 GDPR:
ABUS asks that you regularly inform yourself about the content of the data protection declaration. ABUS will adapt the data protection declaration as soon as changes to the data processing carried out by ABUS make this necessary. We will inform you as soon as the changes require your cooperation (e.g. consent) or other individual notification.
